3. Your seat on a bus is a plaza, not an asiento.
4. In Northern Spain, when you order a menu del dia, instead of getting a choice of coffee or tea, you get a choice of coffee or wine. When you order wine, they bring you a bottle of Rioja and you can drink the whole bottle, they don't care and they don't charge you any more. Menu del dias usually are 9 euros.

8. If you sing on a subway for tips, Spaniards will not tip you. There was a nice lady in a professional blazer & blouse who sang a very passionate “Killing Me Softly” in English and got no money.
9. If you are male and go to a museum and have a small backpack the size of a small purse, you have to check it in the cloak room; if you are female with a large purse, you are allowed to walk in without checking it.
10. Spaniards wear their wedding band on the right hand and not on the left.
